Oh, we get it. That fiery chile oil makes the best stir-fries and adds something special to any ordinary salad. Thankfully, chili oil is super easy to make at home, especially if you’ve already got a few Mad Dog dried chilies hanging around. Here’s how to get the best chili oil from your dried pods.
1 each Mad Dog Carolina Reaper pepper pod, chopped
1 cup Olive Oil
After you’ve chopped your dried pepper pods (wearing gloves, of course), you’re most of the way there. But, you’ll need to very gently warm the oil over low heat. Add the chopped chilies. Warm the oil for about 5 minutes to infuse the flavor into the oil, then leave to cool and store in a glass bottle. Enjoy!
