A UCLA Medical School study suggests that the capsaicin, the active ingredient in hot peppers, might kill prostate cancer cells. Another study showed that capsaicin leads blood vessels to relax, potentially helping to lower blood pressure. Yet another study indicated that cayenne pepper could effectively prevent the formation of some funguses.
