We love chilies and the world’s hottest hot sauces. That shouldn’t be a surprise. We are, after all, an artisanal producer of some of the world’s hottest hot sauces.
And, every week, we’re busy thinking up new, super hot recipes to share with our fans. (That’s you.) For us, that’s the fun part of what we do. And yet, we do just have to take a moment to warn you about sharing the world’s hottest hot sauces because something big is coming to the world of food and foodies.
Meals Are Becoming Communal (Even with Strangers)
Communal meals started with the supper club. Talented home cooks would open their doors for meals in their homes occasionally. If you were part of the club, you’d be invited around from home to home every couple of months. But, supper clubs have gone the way of the app. These days, you can market your table and find neighbors to share with through your Smartphone. And that’s cool; it means you can expect to meet interesting and like-minded people over a meal.
If you’ve not heard of any of this, don’t worry – you will. These supper clubs are becoming a foodie trend, hitting the bigger cities across the United States and Europe. If you don’t have an app-based club in your area yet, you can bet one is on the way. And, in the meantime, you can practice by hosting dinner parties; you know, the old-fashioned sort where you invite people over for a meal and you don’t charge them.
You Like the World’s Hottest Hot Sauces… But, We Must Advise Caution
It’s really difficult for chili heads to understand, but there are people that don’t enjoy spicy foods. And for some people, cayenne is hot. (We know that you’re shaking your head and we totally understand that.) Those people wouldn’t consider a dash of hot sauce, let alone some of the world’s hottest hot sauces, a bonus.
That’s just something you need to remember as we move into the supper club era. Also, it’s not common, but there are people that react rather badly to capsaicin. You never know how a body will respond to a substance that affects the body so seriously.
So, even though we’re busy cooking up some of the most delicious meals that you, as a chili head, can imagine, we don’t always suggest that you share them with strangers. We know that the world’s hottest hot sauces can add to a meal, but there’s a reason that we sell some of our hot sauces with explicit warning labels.
The truth is the world’s hottest hot sauces can hurt some people – and should never be given (or added to food) without a warning. We’re quite strict on that. On the other hand, we’re excited by the prospect of dining in the homes of our Mad Dog fans as more supper club apps pave the way to communal eating.
