Chili Peppers and the Presidential Elections  It’s voting day. Well, it is for a lot of people. Early voters and mail-in voters cast their ballots already. By the time you read this, you may have already been to and from the polls. If not, you should probably get out there are do it. Every vote counts. Seriously.

Every month is a good month for chili peppers. We know it. You know it. But, November is an especially good month for chilies this year. Well, chilies, hot sauces, pepper purees, you name it. November is, after all, National Pepper Month. And, we’re going to take that as chili pepper. Why shouldn’t we? Chili peppers are a lot more useful than the spice you throw onto eggs. Adding chili peppers and hot sauces transforms just about any dish from blasé to blazingly impressive with very little effort on your part.

It’s a little difficult to believe there was once a time when hot sauces weren’t on everyone’s lips. We mean that literally; you know – as they drool and sweat through the glorious pain that comes with capsaicin. And, we also mean that figuratively – as in the fact that people can’t stop talking about super hot sauces. This isn’t just an American thing either. You know all about Tesco’s supermarket in the UK selling reaper peppers. You’ve also heard about the South African chicken chain, Nando’s, creating some blazing peri peri burgers. Chili peppers are impressive. We’re not saying that because we grow them, nor because we transform them into the world’s hottest hot sauces. We’re not even saying that because we like them so damn much.
