We’re serious; March 3rd is all about celebrating cold cuts. You know - those thin slices of meat you find in the deli section of your grocery store. Why do we need a National Cold Cuts Day (and why are we celebrating it Mad Dog Style?) It’s not that strange when you think about it. You love your food spicy hot, right? Well, we know you do. But, not everyone is super excited to be presented with a new bottle of hot sauce. We think it’s strange, but, there are still a lot of people that don’t love spicy foods. It’s not that strange though. According to Paul Rozin, people grow to like certain foods and chilies are one of those foods. And, he should know. He’s a cultural psychologist at the University of Pennsylvania, and he’s studied food attitudes and cultural norms for decades.
