National Homemade Soup Day
February 4th is a super cool day in the foodie world. It claims two rather important foodie holidays. It’s both National Homemade Soup Day and National Stuffed Mushroom Day. In other words, it’s time to celebrate – with a dash of Mad Dog love, of course.
National Slow Cooker Month
Clearly, the US is a country of foodies. That seems to be the only logical explanation for the plethora of foodie holidays. There are special months and unique days filling the calendar. Indeed, there are hardly any free days left. And that means that there’s plenty of overlap. Take January as an example. Not only is it National Soup Month, but it’s also National Slow Cooker Month. And, those are just the beginning – there are more.
National Hot Sauce Day
The big day is finally here! That’s right National Hot Sauce Day is January 22nd, and this year, we’re celebrating with you. Well, technically, the Mad Dog team celebrates Hot Sauce Day pretty much every day, but we do get super excited about this national foodie holiday; so excited that we’re offering consumers a special one day sale. But first, we should probably take a look at what we’re celebrating.
National Spaghetti Day
t’s time for another foodie holiday, and this is one that just about every American can fully embrace. Okay, we do understand that there are Paleo and gluten-free diets, but we’re going to pretend – just for a moment – that those don’t exist. January 4th is National Spaghetti Day, and we know that this is one dish that just about every American has had at one point or another. Some people have spaghetti frequently, perhaps even dousing it with a bit of hot sauce, just as we do.
