Need an excuse to get out of bed on the weekend?
This fiery Italian-esque dish might just be the motivation you’ve been waiting for. These eggs aren’t just quick and easy, they’re also gluten-free and utterly delicious. You may just find yourself craving them at all hours of the day. (They’re that good.) Now, this recipe makes enough for 2, but you can easily double or triple your numbers to feed more. Buon appetito!
1 teaspoon Mad Dog Pure Ghost Hot Sauce
1 cup Marinara sauce
Salt and black pepper, to taste
4 large Eggs
1/4 cup Low-fat milk
1/4 cup Gruyere cheese, shredded
2 tablespoons grated parmesan
1/4 cup Basil leaves
Preheat oven to 425ºF. Lightly grease or spray two ramekins (or large mugs) with cooking spray.
In a small glass bowl combine the Mad Dog Pure Ghost Hot Sauce with the Marinara sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix well. Divide this mixture between the two ramekins. Top with eggs, milk, gruyere, and Parmesan. Place in the oven and bake until egg whites are cooked through – that’s about 10 minutes. Garnish with basil leaves and serve.
