Sautéed Spinach with a Super Kick

Spinach is one of those superfoods that are simply laden with the vitamins you need.

But, we have to admit it can get boring after a while – and that’s if you liked it to begin with. Now you can kiss those woes behind.

This recipe is awesome; it’s that touch of Mad Dog that makes it so.

Ingredients

1 teaspoon Olive oil
4 cloves Garlic, minced
1 pound Spinach (feel free to use a 16 oz. bag of the frozen variety)
2 teaspoons Mad Dog 357 Pure Gold Hot Sauce
1 each Lemon, juiced
¼ teaspoon Salt

Preparation

In a large pan (that has a lid), heat the oil over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook for about 1 minute, just until it begins to brown. Add the spinach and toss to coat in the oil and garlic. Cover with a lid for about 1 minute (or 3 minutes if you’re using the frozen kind). Remove from the heat.

Meanwhile, stir together the Mad Dog 357 Pure Gold Hot Sauce with the lemon juice and salt. Combine well, then toss to coat the spinach and serve hot.
