Last year, a foolish teen chucked a packet of hot sauce at a roller coaster. Yes, while it was roaring along its tracks. It tore open and flooded the eyes of at least one rider. And then the police were called to Cedar Point Amusement Park in Sandusky, Ohio. Because, well, hot sauce doesn’t belong in your eyes – as everyone knows.

Whatever your favorite season is, it’s difficult not to enjoy the longer days of summer. That is, of course, until you run out of things to do. Well, things that aren’t yard work, home repairs or wildly expensive outings.

A serious summer brunch calls for two things: one hell of a food spread and something to wash it down.The food part is relatively simple; pick a few of your favorite breakfast dishes (you know, the kind that doesn’t require you to fry eggs one at a time), add a couple of go-to lunch recipes and you’re set

It’s not really summer without snacks; the sun and heat just take it out of you. And, you suddenly need a snack everywhere: the beach, the pool, the office and definitely when sitting on the back patio enjoying a late evening sun-downer.Obviously, nothing stops you from buying summer snacks at the store (or, let’s face it, the drive-thru). Nothing, that is, except the complete lack of heat you’ll get from just about any commercial snack or sandwich on the market.
