Smokin’ Sardine and Mushroom Pâté

There’s something special about pâté, regardless of the ingredients.

It just feels decadent. And, once you have your hands on a good recipe, you will continue to crave it.

This isn’t just a good recipe; it’s an incredible recipe and you’re going to eat this instead of dinner one night. We just know it. It’s truly that delicious.

Just try it and you’ll see what we mean.


1 tablespoon Olive oil
6 oz. Mushrooms, chopped
½ teaspoon Mad Dog Scorpion Hot Sauce
2 cans (3.75-4 oz.) Sardines, drained
13 oz. Cottage cheese
3 oz. Cream cheese
Juice of 1 lime
Salt and pepper, to taste


In a large frying pan, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Add the mushrooms and fry the mushrooms until soft. Remove from the heat and allow to cool.

Place the Mad Dog Scorpion Hot Sauce in a food processor along with the remaining ingredients. Transfer to a mixing bowl and stir in the mushrooms. Chill slightly before serving this pâté with toast, garnished with lime wedges.
