Customer Service or a Jalapeno Addiction?
In case you haven’t heard, a Scottish woman has been asked not to order from her local branch of Domino’s Pizza again.
Yes, you read that right. Domino’s has (not so kindly) requested that she order her pizzas elsewhere.
That’s because of her wild jalapeño addiction. You see, she always asks for extra jalapeños on her pizzas. She’s willing to pay the fee for the extra toppings, of course, but apparently, Domino’s isn’t able to satisfy her addiction.
You Really Shouldn’t Fear the Jalapeno Pepper
Conflict is a part of life. It’s always been that way. And, you can more or less chalk it all up to economics… or religion. But, let’s not get into that. Let’s just leave it at the fact that violence exists in the world as a result of conflict.
And, there are probably more violent outbursts than you might imagine erupting all over the globe.
Make Your Own Peri-Peri Sauce
You may have noticed a new chicken chain floating throughout the US. Nando’s hails from Southern Africa, but they specialize in Portuguese flame-grilled chicken.
If your African history isn’t up to scratch, just know that the Portuguese colonized a few areas of the continent, including Mozambique and Angola. Unless you have a strong stomach (and you might just if you’re a chili head), the details of Portugal’s withdrawal from the continent aren’t for you. It wasn’t very pretty.
We Worry So Much about Solutions…
Seriously. Google returns well over a million results for “chili pepper burn” as if it’s a totally normal phenomenon. Of course, Google gives a lot of options for even the most inane questions, so it’s not as if we can use the search engine as any sort of proof.
But, a lot of people have tried a lot of solutions to relieve the pain that comes with eating chili peppers and the capsaicin found inside.
