Making Meals Spicy… and Kid Friendly
You may have noticed that our recipe blog is constantly growing. Posts range from starters and salads to main dishes and then on to dessert; and each one features Mad Dog hot sauces, purees, pepper pods, or extracts. Sure we love adding hot sauce to foods that have already been prepared, but there’s almost nothing like Mad Dog cooked into meals.
Pepper Spray Stops Thieves
So, pepper spray has been a form of security for years. The police use it and so do college girls. It’s just that sort of a thing.
And why not? There are only a few non-lethal means of self-protection that return serious results.
Pepper spray is also what you’re supposed to carry when hiking to deter bears from attacking – and in parts of the world, chili pepper bombs are under development.

Last year was the first, but the California Hot Sauce Festival was so good that it was never going to be the last. (As if we needed more proof that chili head numbers are growing exponentially!)
August Foodie Holidays
As you well know, there are heaps of foodie holidays on the calendar. In fact, there’s damn near one for every day of the year. And, there are plenty of days with a couple of different dishes to enjoy. You can pick just about anything you enjoy and build a meal plan around it.
Well, you could; except, there are plenty of dessert days on the menu every month.
