Ingredients

Green Falafel

  • 1 can chickpeas, drained
  • 1 cup parsley & cilantro
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • Salt & pepper
  • Olive oil for cooking

Pumpkin & Beet Hummus

  • 1 cup cooked beet
  • 1 cup pumpkin purée
  • 1 can chickpeas
  • 2 tbsp tahini
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1–2 tsp Mad Dog 357 Ghost Pepper Hot Sauce 🔥

Platter Additions

  • Warm pita bread
  • Sun-dried tomatoes
  • Mixed olives
  • Stuffed cherry peppers
  • Fresh tabbouleh
  • Fresh figs, sliced
  • Olive oil drizzle
  • Feta cheese (optional)

Instructions

1. Make the Falafel

  1. Blend chickpeas, herbs, garlic, cumin, flour, salt, and pepper until chunky.
  2. Form into small balls or patties.
  3. Pan-fry in olive oil until crispy and golden on both sides.

2. Make the Hummus

  1. Blend beet, pumpkin, chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, and Ghost Pepper Hot Sauce until smooth.
  2. Add a splash of water or olive oil if needed for texture.

3. Build the Platter

  1. Spread hummus onto a large serving platter.
  2. Arrange falafel, pita, olives, sun-dried tomatoes, stuffed peppers, tabbouleh, and figs around it.
  3. Finish with olive oil, herbs, and an extra drizzle of Ghost Pepper Hot Sauce for serious heat 🌶️🔥
