It’s time for hot dogs to get a new twist.
Maybe we should call it a new sting as that’s exactly what you’ll get from all the Scorpion in here. Yep, there’s plenty of bite in every bite and that’s how we like it.
Plus, this recipe for four is deadly simple to prepare. You won’t find any excuses for making these dogs every week. (But if you really need one, consider them for National Hot Dog Day on September 10th.)
And really, there are no limits to how far you can take these dogs. Feel free to tuck the salsa inside or add a touch of sour cream if you like.
Of course, you can always add plenty more Mad Dog 357 Scorpion Hot Sauce – that’s what we do.
Ingredients
4 small flour tortillas
½ cup Refried beans
2-4 teaspoons Mad Dog 357 Scorpion Scorching Hot Dogs">Mad Dog 357 Scorpion Hot Sauce
½ cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
4 each Hot dogs (get the best you can)
Salsa, to serve
Preparation
Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line a small baking sheet with baking paper and set aside.
Layout the tortillas and divide the beans between them. Spread the beans then top with plenty of Mad Dog 357 Scorpion Hot Sauce and use a spoon to spread it around. Scatter over the cheese, then place a hot dog on top.
Roll each hot dog tortilla into enchilada-shaped rolls and place seam-side down on your prepared baking sheet. Place in the oven and bake for about 10 minutes, or until the edges of the tortillas begin to crisp. Serve hot with your favorite salsa.
TIP: If you’re feeding a crowd, why not double or triple the recipe. Once they’re cooked, slice the dogs into bite-sized portions and serve with the salsa as a dipping sauce – loaded with more Mad Dog 357 Scorpion Hot Sauce, of course.
